Bhupender Gupta, Chairman and Managing Director of National Hydro Power Corporation (NHPC), has represented India at the prestigious India-Norway Business and Research Summit held at Oslo City Hall, Norway, alongside Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The summit brought together the Prime Ministers of India and Norway along with senior officials, policymakers and industry leaders to strengthen bilateral cooperation in areas such as clean energy, hydroelectric power, green transition, fertilisers, fisheries, food security and scientific research.
Gupta’s participation highlighted the NHPC’s growing contribution to India’s renewable energy ambitions and sustainable development goals. For the people of Mandi, the occasion holds special emotional significance as Gupta belongs to the district.
