
- The National Lottery has apologised after Wednesday night’s draw experienced significant delays.
- The draw was scheduled to take place at 8pm. The delay left players frustrated, with many leaving comments of displeasure in the National Lottery YouTube live chat feed.
- The National Lottery’s official account on X, in a reply to one disgruntled player, said: “Due to a technical fault the live draw is slightly delayed. We’re working hard to fix it, and we apologise for the inconvenience.”
- At 9.38pm, in response to another X user, The National Lottery apologised again and revealed that the draw had been completed “in the presence of an independent adjudicator” but did not disclose the winning numbers in the post.
