• Monday night's Set For Life draw, which typically takes place at 8 pm BST every Monday and Thursday, was delayed this week.
• By 9pm, the draw had still not yet taken place, leading to a flurry of questions from lottery players.
• Responding to one query on X, the National Lottery said: "There is a short delay to tonight’s Set For Life draw. We’ll bring you the draw as soon as we can. Thanks for your patience."
• The National Lottery experienced a similar issue in April 2026, when it apologized for a “technical fault” that led to a delayed draw.
