The Central Scientific Instruments Organisation (CSIO), Chandigarh, commemorated the National Technology Week-2026 under the theme of “Responsible Innovation for Inclusive Growth”.
Addressing the CSIO staff here today, Padma Shri recipient Shashi Shekhar Vempati, Chairperson, Central Board of Film Certification, emphasized the importance of responsible innovation, digital transformation and technology-enabled inclusive growth.
President, Institution of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers, Sunil, who was the guest of honour, emphasised stronger collaboration among academia, research institutions and industry. CSIO Director, Prof Shantanu Bhattacharya, gave an overview of CSIO’s contributions in strategic sectors. The event also witnessed the signing of three MoUs.
