Arsenal attacker Nicolas Pepe insists he feels no pressure over his record price-tag.

Pepe left Lille for the Gunners in a 80m deal.

"It's nice and flattering (the price tag), but it's not me who coughed up that amount. It's flattering, but I'm not thinking about it at all. I came to Arsenal because I'm ambitious, to win titles, that's why I came," he told Canal Football Club.

"I personally handle it normally. My brother, my friends, they could say, 'That's 80 million euros', but for me it was normal. To them, it's a bit like 'what the hell', I was in Angers, playing in Orleans and for them to see 80 million euros is crazy.

"I was also surprised, because I've come a long way, so it's a source of pride for me. It is something that I will quickly put aside and concentrate on football."
