If you’re reading this, chances are you would already have successfully beat the queues against all odds and bagged a time-machine ticket back into the 2000s for Ne-Yo’s upcoming concert in Malaysia. Now all that’s left to do is prepare for a One In A Million night to remember. And there is no better way to do that than by perusing our detailed Ne-Yo concert guide, granting you a full scope of what you can expect upon your arrival.
To recap, American R&B crooner Ne-Yo will be making his return to local shores for two evenings in November, happening on the 9th and 10th. Predictably, tickets for the hotly anticipated live event that will be held in KLCC’s Plenary Hall have already been sold out, so we’d advise against trying to nab them off scalpers.
How to get to the Ne-Yo Malaysia concert venue
In any case, the most important thing to bear in mind is how you’ll get to the concert venue. Thankfully in this case, you’ll be glad to know that the Plenary Hall in the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre is conveniently located within the very heart of the downtown area, making it a breeze for those who are hoping to commute there via public transit. If you’re planning to arrive by train, simply board the Kelana Jaya LRT line and disembark at the KLCC station.
Once you have arrived, make your way to the Ground Floor of KLCC before making a left from the Main Atrium closest to Uniqlo and walk straight down until you spot Maybank to your right. Walk towards Maybank and proceed down the underground corridor, which will lead you directly to the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre. Once you have arrived, take two flights of escalators to reach the Plenary Hall entrances.
As is the case with most concerts, we would advise against driving to the concert venue if you can avoid it. However, if you are left with no choice but to commute by car, you may opt to park in several locations, all of which are within easy reach of the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre. These include:
- KLCC
- Mandarin Oriental Hotel
- Impiana KLCC Hotel
Bear in mind that parking rates will vary for each of these locations and tend to be quite extortionate, so you’ve been warned.
