Kota Kinabalu: The Government needs to upgrade the drainage systems in the State, especially in flood-prone areas, says Upko Sepanggar Chief Datuk Wong Thien Fook.
He said the matter needs to be taken seriously as it not only inconveniences the people but also bears burden due to property damage.
“Most of these areas have experienced many development changes caused by developers themselves yet the existing drainage systems were never upgraded.
