Amid continuing outrage over alleged irregularities in the NEET examination process, the Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) has launched an online campaign demanding the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, accusing the Centre of failing to ensure transparency and accountability in the country’s examination system.
The campaign quickly gained traction on social media, with a video appeal posted by the party founder on X amassing over 12 million views within an hour.
More than 88,000 users had reportedly endorsed the campaign soon after it was launched.

The move comes in the backdrop of the NEET controversy, which affected nearly 22 lakh medical aspirants across India and triggered protests, legal challenges and political criticism. Allegations of question paper leaks and concerns over the integrity of the examination process had sparked anxiety among students and parents nationwide.
Launching the campaign through a video message, the CJP founder appealed to students, youth groups and citizens to support the initiative and “build pressure” on the government to act. In the video, the founder said it was time to “make the system accountable” and demanded responsibility for what was described as a “massive failure” impacting the future of lakhs of students.
The campaign seeks the resignation of the Education Minister and calls for structural reforms in the conduct of national-level competitive examinations. CJP members alleged that repeated controversies surrounding entrance tests had severely dented public confidence in the education system.
The NEET row had earlier prompted intervention from the Supreme Court of India, while opposition parties and student organisations also questioned the functioning of the National Testing Agency (NTA), which conducts several major entrance examinations.
There was no immediate response from the Ministry of Education or the minister’s office regarding the campaign.
