Campari, Italy’s iconic red apéritif, and Imbibe Magazine join forces again for the 2026 edition of Negroni Week, running from 21st to 27th September 2026, featuring a global series of events in bars and restaurants supporting charitable partner Slow Food. Celebrating the power of storytelling through creative mixology with Campari at its heart, Negroni Week 2026 will see a total of 82 participating establishments across Malaysia.
In 2025, almost 15,000 bars and restaurants across more than 90 countries participated in Negroni Week, helping raise a combined USD700,000 that has supported educational scholarships and community-based projects around the world. For Negroni Week 2026, the Negroni Week Fund will continue to be distributed by Slow Food to directly support the hospitality community in helping preserve cultural and biological diversity, promoting food and beverage education with knowledge exchange, and fostering equity and wellness.
In Malaysia, the celebration kicked off with an opening party at Mantra Rooftop Bar & Lounge, Bangsar Village II on 17 September 2026, bringing together the bartender community and Negroni lovers to mark the start of Negroni Week 2026. In recognition of this long-standing and successful partnership, the evening unfolded the infinite stories around the iconic Campari cocktail. To set the tone for a week-long celebration across participating bars and restaurants nationwide, guests were treated to signature Negroni serves, including the Americano and classic Negroni, as well as the Negroni al Daun Limau, a Mantra Signature featuring ingredients like Kaffir lime leaves infused in Bulldog Gin.
Negroni Week will also include a special guest shift at Cabinet 8 KL on 23 September, 8pm to midnight. The guest shift will feature Demitria and Syazi of Hats Bar, Jakarta, Indonesia, recognised as the Campari One To Watch Award 2026 at Asia’s 50 Best Bars 2026, together with Cabinet 8 KL head bartender, Sam Yap whose passion is exploring liquid expressions of Malaysia’s lesser-known flavours like wild herbs, forgotten tropical fruits, forage roots, and indigenous aromatics.
The official Negroni Week will run from 21 to 27 September, while the public can still enjoy it at participating bars until 21 October 2026.
