This restaurant has been operating for the past few decades with no changes in its recipe but still boasting the same amount of customers since it first opened. Order a bowl and you’ll be surprised at the amount of minced pork and pork slices in it, complete with squid and fishcakes. You can also choose to have pork innards in your soup too.

While it might seem like an unconventional choice for this list, the banana fritters (pisang goreng) stall in OUG has definitely earned its place. For nearly 20 years, an elderly couple has been running this cart, frying up banana fritters, sweet potatoes, nian gao (glutinous rice flour cake), and yam throughout the day. The constant stream of customers ensures that everything is always made fresh.
