The Nepalese authorities said 384 tourists, including 291 from countries including India, the United States, the United Kingdom and Malaysia, were reported missing as a result of the flash floods.

The Independent has verified the location of this footage using archive and satellite imagery. Video shows a bridge over the Trishuli River being swept away in seconds by the water.
