KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 28 - Nepal has released a list of 537 foreigners from more than 30 countries reported missing following the devastating floods in Rasuwa district.
The list was published on Nepal’s Tourism Department website yesterday evening under the headline “Tourist List (Out of Contact) in Bhotekoshi Flood”.
It contains information on those reported missing, including their names and the names of some of the travel agencies that organised their trips.
The list showed that India had the highest number of missing nationals at 178, followed by the United States with 65 and Ukraine with 53.
It identified 51 Malaysians handled by Leaf Holiday, Fishtail, Dream Tibet Travel and Tour and Kailash Journeys, as unaccounted for. They are:
