If you’re a fan of Squid Game, you may not have to wait too long for Season 3 to pick up from where the cliffhanger left off.

Last week, we saw some pretty interesting updates and potential leaks as a teaser trailer was released along with a now-deleted release date.

Netflix may have accidentally leaked the Squid Game season 3 release date

In the teaser for Season 3, the show teased the new animatronic doll Chul-su with Young-hee. Based on the past introduction of Young-hee, we can only assume that a new deadly version of Red Light, Green Light will be introduced to the players.

On top of introducing Young-hee’s new partner, and a more difficult version of Red Light, Green Light for Season 3, the Korean upload by Netflix had one piece of information which was later removed. Not only was the title “Squid Game Season 3 2025 Release,” but the description also had the release date slated as “June 27, 2025.”

This is good news for those hooked on the series as it took a little over three years since the release of Season 1 for us to get a second season. Given how popular the show has gotten globally, it also makes sense that they would want to put more resources behind this franchise for more frequent programming. Either way, if the description was real, fans may only need to wait until the summertime for your next fix.

You can now stream the first two seasons of Squid Game on Netflix.
