Malaysian food doesn’t receive the global recognition it deserves, despite its delicious blend of Chinese, Indian, and Malay influences.

While we understand that it might not be everyone’s taste, a recent post by user @anthraxxx781 on X featured an interview with Japanese netizens where they were asked about the country they wouldn’t want to visit or which country they dislike.

The Japanese man shared that he had been to Malaysia before and found that Malaysian food wasn’t to his liking.

“Malaysia. When I visited, I didn’t find the food particularly appealing.”

Some Malaysians weren’t too happy about the man’s response and quickly joined the conversation to share their thoughts on the Japanese man’s response.
