Based on reports, yesterday (27/11/2025), a father was heavily criticized online when he left his child at a mall playground, and stepped away to go have a meal.
He was gone for 2 hours and the incident came to light after a man who was watching this man's child posted a confrontational video questioning the parent for chid negligence.
In the video, the man can be heard angrily telling the father "Your child tried to leave twice. If I hadn't been watching, your child would have gone missing. I'm heartbroken that you left your child here for two hours!"
The father denied the accusations and said that he only stepped away for abit, while making sure he asked the playground staff to look after his kid in the meantime.
Netizens expressed discontent in the comments with some saying they're so satisfied he got scolded, while others adding "Does he think the staff at the counter are babysitters? Some parents shouldn't even be parents."
