Started by the the founders of cocoraw, Kedai Coklat is a stop you need to make if you love chocolate! They use only locally sourced cocoa beans from Perak, Pahang and Kelantan!
Here are our favourite items we would 100% go back for:
1. Chocolate Terrine 10/10: The ultimate chocolate indulgence, its their version of a Chocolate Brownie, BUT BETTER! made with one of the world’s top 50 chocolate, the texture is like mousse but harder and extremely rich, not too sweet, and when you combine it with the fresh cream and the saltiness from the cocoa crumbs. Heaven in the mouth!!
2. Cocoa Tea 8/10: If you haven’t tried this, prepared to be pleasantly surprised by the cocoa infused tea, surprisingly refreshing cocoa aroma.
3. Coco Raw Gula Melaka and Teh Tarik Handmade chocolates 9/10 : On the hunt for good chocolate? the Gula Melaka Chocolate is one we can’t forget, a melt in your mouth experience with the sweet and saltiness from the Gula Melaka.
4. Chocolate Tiramisu tart 9/10: Their own unique take on a tiramisu, coffee-infused chocolate moscato cream is super rich and delicious, the crunchiness of the tart is something you dont expect with tiramisu flavours but its a brilliant addition!
Other items we tried were :
The Honeycomb Chocolate Drink has crunchy wedges of honeycomb topping a slightly sweet and rich cold chocolate drink. we enjoyed eating the honey combs!
The pineapple chocolate drink /10 : The only way we know how to describe this is, do you know orange coffee? Not for us but its an acquired taste.
