New Crystal Palace boss Oliver Glasner says the academy is in his plans.
Glasner recognises the importance of academy talent in Palace's ambitions.
He said: It's a new Academy a very, very nice Academy. Of course, I think every club has the vision to bring players out of the Academy and then have them in your club. I was told that here in south London there are great talents and I could see some of them right now.
This is also part of the club philosophy, because otherwise you shouldn't build such an Academy. As often as it's possible for me to watch an Under-21 or an Under-18 [match], I will watch the game.
First of all, I like to see our talents and second, I like to watch football games. I hope that we have those players who we can have in our squad and they can play for the first-team."
