  • Private Swedish railway company Snälltåget is launching a new direct daytime train service connecting Malmö, Gothenburg, and Oslo.
  • The six-and-a-half-hour journey will commence on 15 June, with tickets starting from 149 Swedish krone (about £12.20).
  • The service will run daily, departing Malmö at 6.38am (7.05 am on Sundays) and arriving in Oslo at 1.16 pm, with return services in the afternoon.
  • Passengers can bring two pieces of hand luggage and one personal item, and pets are welcome for an additional charge.
  • An onboard restaurant, Krogen, will be available, and travellers arriving in Malmö can connect to Snälltåget's night train service to Berlin.
