Chelsea have provided an update regarding the fitness of two key players this week.
The Stamford Bridge club have announced that both Carney Chukwuemeka and Trevoh Chalobah are injured.
The former is said to have pain in his knee after returning to full training with the first team this week, per the Evening Standard.
There are not as many details about Chalobah's problem, but he has been struggling with a thigh problem all season so far.
The source adds that Chelsea have also suffered a blow with the news that Reece James' comeback has been delayed.
A club statement read: "Defender Trevoh Chalobah and midfielder Carney Chukwuemeka have both suffered recent setbacks in their bid to return from respective injuries sustained earlier this season.
"The duo will now go under further review before continuing their rehabilitation at Cobham with the club's medical staff."
