A new HOHO has arrived in Selangor State! Oh dear, don't be mistaken, as it is not Christmas yet and not Santa Claus's HOHOHO, haha. It is a new bus, the unique Hop on Hop off bus (HOHO bus), that was launched on 20 May 2023 and will start operation on 1 June 2023.
The State of Selangor, through its tourism promotion agency, Tourism Selangor, launched the first Selangor Hop On Hop Off (HOHO) Tour Bus with the vision to boost the development of tourism services in Selangor. The Honourable Mr Hee Loy Sian, the EXCO of Tourism and Environment at IOI City Mall, launched the tour bus.
Through the "Nak Bercuti, Pusing Selangor Dulu!" campaign, Selangor Tourism believed this HOHO tourist bus service would be able to attract more tourists, both domestic and international. With this HOHO bus route covering KLIA and KLIA2, this Hop on Hop off bus gives travellers an option of a quick tour of the surrounding area during the long transit before proceeding to the next flight.
For the first phase of this HOHO Tour Bus, it is set to operate in Sepang with the assistance from 17 tourism product operators: such as Farm Fresh @ UPM Serdang, Avani Goldcoast Resort & Spa, Jeti Sirip Biru, Sepang International Circuit, HL Dragon Fruit, Mitsui Outlet, Banghuris Homestay and few others. This Hop-on Hop-off bus, HOHO, is operated by the LNH Tour & Transport.
Operations will start on 1 June 2023, on Saturdays first and later on Sundays
HOHO Fare Pricing:
Malaysian: - Student with ID, Children 5-12, & Senior = RM40
Adult (13 - 59 years old) = RM50
Malaysian Family package ( 2 adults + 2 children 5-12 yrs ) = RM168
Foreigner: - Student with ID, Children 5-12, & Senior = RM70
- Adult (13 - 59 years old) = RM80
- Foreigner Family package ( 2 adults + 2 children 5-12 yrs ) = RM288
