As the Kakak Kawasan (long-time resident) of Shah Alam, I know this area by heart. Modern, safe, and well-established, Shah Alam has so much to offer. Public transport, malls, and hotels are rapidly developing in this area.
Jumping on the development bandwagon, the popular chain hotel, Best Western, has just opened right in the heart of Shah Alam. What better way to spend some “me time”, than a home away from home right in the heart of Shah Alam! Here are the top 3 reasons why I think it would be the perfect location:

This hotel has glowing reviews on Trip Advisor. Photos from the official website of the hotel did not disappoint either.
Here is a photo. Fuhhh, not bad for a king room, right? I would love to lounge around in this room and take a good nap. That cosy bed looks inviting after a long day of fun outdoors. This is also the perfect venue for business meetings. After sealing that deal or conducting training, you deserve a good night's rest!
2. Good location
Things to do around here is the i-City SnoWalk, WaterWorld, and Central i-City Mall.
The theme parks are nearby, and the mall is only 1.7km away.
My personal recommendation is hanging out at the mall. You know what is my favourite time of the day? It is Makan Time. This mall has almost EVERYTHING for a foodie lover, from high-end restaurants to street-food, all from the comfort of a mall.
Bonus: If you love to buy textile/ baju kurung material/ modest muslimah clothes , this hotel is also about 10 minutes car ride to Jakel in Seksyen 7. Shop 'til you drop, ladies!
3. Good price point:
A quick search from the official website shows that a night with a queen bed and breakfast will cost around RM340. However, do look out for options from other websites too, as there may be better deals.
I think the price point is worth it, as it includes breakfast too. A quick search from other bloggers who have stayed here Goody Foodies has provided me with a photo of a tantalizing breakfast that is worth waking up for!
