RANAU: A video showing newly developed market stalls in Kundasang, which are nearing completion, has drawn mixed reactions from social media users.
While some welcomed the development, others called for greater consideration to be given to the location and supporting facilities.
One commenter questioned whether improving the road to Mesilou Kundasang Lama and the road to Masjid Jamek should also be prioritised, while another said the development could obstruct the view of Mount Kinabalu.
Another suggested turning the area near Bata Merah into a landscaped public space for visitors to take photographs, while calling for traders to be moved to a more organised area.
Other commenters called for public toilets, adequate parking and rubbish bins, with one user saying the latter was important to maintain cleanliness in the area.
