Kota Kinabalu: Newly-appointed Industrial Development Minister Phoong Jin Zhe said the new Sabah Cabinet line-up is progressive especially with Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Mohd Noor’s move to drop the Finance Ministry portfolio.
“This is a good step. After decades we finally have something progressive where the Chief Minister is not holding the Finance Minister post.
“I believe Sabahans welcome it as well,” he said, after the swearing-in outside Istana Seri Kinabalu, Wednesday. The State Finance Ministry is now helmed by Datuk Seri Masidi Manjun.
