
Kota Kinabalu: Sabah RTM Broadcasting Department launched the new logo of Ging Bubut SABAHfm and SABAHVfm on Thursday.
RTM Sabah Chief Assistant Director of Radio Programmes, Aritika Matbee, said the Ging Bubut programme is aimed to refresh the Ging Bubut brand to approach RTM SABAHfm and SABAHVfm listeners face-to-face at the location.
“Ging Butut is an on-site RTM radio programme to approach the listeners and also to appreciate the support of the listeners who have continued to listen to SABAHfm and SABAHVfm RTM radio broadcasts.
“In addition, Ging Bubut will tour 48 locations throughout Sabah this year as we hope listeners in selected locations can join us in the various activities,” she told the media after the Logo Launch and Flag Off Ceremony.

The Ging Bubut Tour was first introduced in 2010. It is a simple but effective face-to-face approach to RTM SABAHfm and SABAHVfm Radio broadcast listeners on location where radio presenters have the opportunity to meet listeners and make recordings to be used as radio broadcast material.
Also present were Penampang District Officer, Francis Chong, Deputy Director of Sabah Broadcasting, Ts. Cyril Simon and Public Relations Officer of the Malaysian Cocoa Board, Felicity Lawrence Ening.
