Manchester United's new CEO Omar Berrada will have to explain some old social media comments.

The Red Devils have announced that Berrarda is taking on the CEO role in the coming months.

However, the ex-Manchester City chief has not always been complimentary towards United.

Ahead of United's 3-3 draw with Chelsea in 2012, Berrada tweeted: "Stuck at the airport 'cause of snow delays. Killing time watching Man United vs Chelsea on my iPad via Sky go. And hoping for a ManU loss..."

After Fernando Torres scored in the game, he added: "Goal! Chelsea 2-0 Manchester United. Oh yeah! Viva la Spanish Connection!"

An older post read: "Watching the Man Utd vs Bayern 1999 UCL final on ESPN Classic. I had forgotten how much Bayern really deserved to win that match."
