New Mercedes-AMG GLB 35 4MATIC Arrives In Malaysia
The facelifted Mercedes-AMG GLB 35 4MATIC is now available to purchase in Malaysia.
Mercedes-Benz Malaysia has introduced the Mercedes-AMG GLB 35 4MATIC facelift model about 2 weeks from the launch of the rest of the facelifted GLB range. This new AMG model was launched at the Mercedes-Benz world event happening at KL Base, Sungai Besi and is open to the public from 5-7 July 2024. Pricing for this unique performance vehicle is RM418,888.
The new GLB 35’s key upgrade is its mild-hybrid system which incorporates a second generation belt-driven starter generator and a 48V on-board power supply. It is still powered by a 2.0L 4-cylinder turbocharged engine putting out 306 horsepower and 400Nm of torque.
The additional electric motor can provide a boost of 14PS but also functions to improve comfort by making coasting and engine start/stop operations smoother. Sending power to all four wheels is an 8-speed AMG Speedshift dual-clutch transmission and a 4MATIC system.
Acceleration from 0-100km/h takes just 5.5 seconds and the GLB 35 has a top speed of 250km/h.
