New Napoli coach Raul Garcia says Giovanni Di Lorenzo will be his captain for the new season.
Garcia says they'll also compete for both the Serie A and Champions League titles.
He stated: "A strong squad is needed for the Champions League. When you play the Europa League you can concentrate 100% on the league because the group usually tops it and when the round of 16 and quarter-finals arrive become serious.
"We have to be good at playing both competitions, for that you need a squad."
Garcia also said: "My players have a collective spirit and are good at their first game. We are cultivating these characteristics. The captain's armband? Di Lorenzo is a man of great quality because he thinks of others. I had no doubts that my captain would have been Giovanni di Lorenzo, because it could only be him."
