New poll shows Kemi Badenoch gaining popularity

  • Conservative leader Kemi Badenoch has experienced a rise in personal popularity, with 38 per cent of Britons saying she is doing well as leader, according to YouGov.
  • Despite Ms Badenoch's boosted ratings, public opinion towards the Conservative party remains poor, with only 20 per cent of voters intending to support the party.
  • A primary concern among voters remains the belief that the Conservatives have failed to learn lessons from the last general election.
  • Ms Badenoch is now the UK's second-most popular political leader with a net approval rating of plus one, behind prime minister Andy Burnham on plus 14 points.
  • Nigel Farage's net approval has dropped sharply to minus 26, while Labour has emerged as the most popular party with 24 per cent support.
