- The first trailer for Disney and Sony’s Spider-Man: Brand New Day has been released, featuring Tom Holland in the lead role with Zendaya also returning as MJ.
- The film, Holland's fourth standalone Spider-Man movie in the MCU, is set to premiere in cinemas on 31 July.
- It marks Holland's return as the web-slinger since 2021's Spider-Man: No Way Home, continuing the narrative after Peter Parker's identity was forgotten by everyone.
- Brand New Day introduces a classic blue and red suit as Spider-Man with many returning MCU cast members including Mark Ruffalo as the Hulk, Jon Bernthal as the Punisher, and Michael Mando as Scorpion
- In addition, there are new characters such as Sadie Sink in an unspecified role, Marvin Jones II playing the gangster Tombstone and a group of red ninjas known as The Hand, who have previously appeared in the Daredevil TV show.
- Other characters spotted include Boomerang and Tarantula, while the storyline appears to be hinting at the mutation arc, which previously appeared in the popular 1990s animated series.
