Kota Kinabalu: Sabah's daily Covid-19 caseload shot up to 170 today reflecting the national trend, potentially another wave of infections brought on by an unknown variant.
In the meantime, this is a supposition until the Ministry of Health can make investigations and further research, said an update shared by the spokesman for the crisis, Datuk Masidi Manjun.
In any case, social activities not according to SOPs may cause future infections to go higher, it added.
Today's number was 33 cases more than yesterday's.
More districts registered increasing new cases while 10 districts, which previously had no new cases, recorded some today.
