Newcastle United have approached Bayern Munich for Joshua Kimmich.
BILD says Newcastle have asked Bayern about the Germany international's availability.
Newcastle wish to sign Kimmich this month, though the player is reluctant to leave midseason.
Kimmich has a deal with Bayern to 2025 and talks over a new deal are yet to be held.
As such, a summer move cannot be discounted for the midfielder.
