Newcastle United are closing in on the signing of Sven Botman.
The Lille defender is a long-term target for the Magpies, and was wanted by Italian champions AC Milan.
However, transfer expert Fabrizio Romano claims that Botman has chosen Newcastle as his next club.
All the terms of the deal are agreed, with Newcastle set to pay €37 million with add-ons.
Botman will sign a long-term contract, as he jets into Tyneside next week.
He will undergo a medical and then sign his contract with the Premier League club.
