Newcastle boss Eddie Howe is eager to see Elliot Anderson in regular action for the remainder of the season.

Anderson is now fully fit and available to Howe.

Howe said: "He is getting there, he looks stronger and more robust.

"He has trained well the last two weeks. He is a really talented player. I want to see him do well for the remainder of the season."

On catching seventh-place West Ham, he added: "We want to be closing that gap. They have done well, they are a dangerous team.

"We are back at home, we left on a good note in our last game against Wolves and we are desperate to carry that on again. This is a home game, expectation will be on us, so we will attack the game in the way we know we can."
