Newcastle boss Eddie Howe insists he's happy with Lewis Hall.
The on-loan Chelsea wing-back was changed at halftime of defeat at Bournemouth - his third halftime substitution of the season.
Howe explained: "It was not really a reflection on Lewis Hall's performance. We know at this moment Lewis won't play a full 90 minutes.
"With our early substitution (Miguel Almiron going off) I did not want to impact my ability to make changes from the bench.
"That was the reason for the decision."
