Newcastle boss Eddie Howe insists he's having to work to a limited summer budget.
Newcastle splashed out 80m to sign Sandro Tonali from AC Milan earlier this month.
Howe said: "We are working on it because we need other players. The problem is that, after those already spent in this session, we now don't have a big budget to work with. Our availability is now very limited and we should do with what we have and with a little creativity.
"Tonali is training with us and from the physical tests he seems to be doing really well.
"I'm very happy with how the whole group is preparing for the season, they're giving it their all."
