Newcastle United are eyeing Shakhtar Donetsk attacker Mykhaylo Mudryk.
The Ukraine international is being linked with a January move from Shakhtar.
Arsenal have been linked with Mudryk, but Football Insider says Newcastle are now making a move.
Mudryk is open to a move to Tyneside in 2023.
The 21-year-old is said to be keen on a move to the Premier League, but could wait until the summer if Shakhtar progress to the Champions League play-offs.
However, Newcastle manager Eddie Howe will try to get a deal done in January.
