Newcastle United captain Jamaal Lascelles admits he did not try to exchange shirts with Kylian Mbappe.
The Paris Saint-Germain striker had a quiet night at St. James' Park, as Newcastle won 4-1 in the Champions League on Wednesday.
Lascelles, who started in the famous group stage win, says he gave no thought to swapping shirts post-game with Mbappe.
The centre back told reporters: "I thought, 'I'm not even going to bother asking for it.'"
He added: "I got Marquinhos [shirt], so that's not far off Mbappe, I'll take that."
"I didn't even want to talk to him (Mbappe)," he finished.
"The only talking he was going to get was something aggressive."
