Premier League giants Newcastle United will spend as much as Financial Fair Play allows them to spend.

The Magpies are owned by the Saudi Arabian royal family, which gives them near unlimited wealth.

However, the St. James' Park club are limited by FFP, which is based on revenue and expenditure over the past few years.

The reality is, we're always going to spend what we can under FFP, and that's a great thing," said CEO Darren Eales.

I can say, hand on heart, the club will always be doing its best to get to where we want to. But we've got to make sure we do it methodically and in a way that's sustainable.

We've got to savor this moment because we've got to the Champions League.

It doesn't mean we want to rest on our laurels, we're going to build for next year, but it's really important when we build that team that we bring in the right characters, the right people that fit."
