Newcastle United will welcome back midfielder Joe White into the fold this winter.
The 21-year-old was at Crewe Alexandra for the first half of the season, which got him plenty of game time.
He scored three goals in those games, including a winner against Mansfield Town recently.
Manager Eddie Howe will now give White a chance to impress the club's first team coaching staff.
The Chronicle states that he may even be headed back out on loan to a new team.
The club's loan chief Shola Ameobi is in charge of ensuring young players get the best possible moves.
