Burnley goalkeeper Nick Pope is being linked with Newcastle United.
The England international plans to leave Burnley after their relegation last season.
The Daily Mail says Pope has had interest from a number of clubs but a move to Newcastle appeals, particularly with the new investment and progress made under manager Eddie Howe.
Toon boss Howe is in the market for a new keeper to compete with Martin Dubravka.
If Burnley keep their asking price reasonable, Newcastle will seek to do business.
