Newcastle United are firming up their interest in Rennes winger Kamaldeen Sulemana.
Sulemana is a favourite of Newcastle director of football Dan Ashworth, who is now moving for the Ghana international.
L'Equipe says Newcastle are showing interest in Sulemana - who has a contract until 2026.
The Magpies are considering making a bid for the winger.
Sulemana, 20, joined Rennes a year ago FC Nordsjaelland for €15m.
