Newcastle United goalkeeper Martin Dubravka has been released by the Slovakia squad.

Dubravka has returned to Tyneside for 'personal reasons'.

The keeper sat out of the friendly in Oslo against Norway. The friendly ended in a 1-1 draw for Slovakia.

Dubravka is expected to be fit for the weekend encounter with West Ham, says ChronicleLive.

He has made 27 appearances for club and country this season.
