Newcastle goalkeeper Nick Pope was happy for the fans after their 0-0 draw with Leicester City.
The result secured Champions League qualification for Newcastle.
Pope said: "[The fans have] been unbelievable all year. To pay them back to get over the line it means everything."
"To do it here, in front of these fans, we've worked so hard. To be there next season, it means everything.
"It's always nice to be involved (with a late save), I'm happy to get another clean sheet."
