Newcastle hero Les Ferdinand admits he's a fan of Allan Saint-Maximin.
The French winger was outstanding for Sunday's 3-3 draw with Manchester City.
"They love a maverick and that's what he is," Ferdinand revealed after Newcastle's six-goal thriller. "You don't know what you're going to get.
"He's effervescent when he's on and before the game I thought this would be a game for him because this is the type of contest he would like to shine in.
"If you're going to give him opportunities and give him room he can hurt you and he showed every reason why he's so popular with the supporters."
