Former Newcastle United ace Les Ferdinand admits he could not believe Joelinton's miss against Borussia Dortmund.
The Magpies had momentum in the second half against the German side, when they were already 1-0 down.
However, Joelinton failed to convert an excellent Tino Livramento cross from six yards out, with Newcastle going on to lose 2-0.

I watched the game and, when I saw that ball (from Livramento) coming to the far post, I nearly fell off the sofa! I was wanting to put it in the back of the net myself. When you looked at the group at the beginning, everyone said it was the group of death. They started so well against AC Milan and then at home against Paris Saint-Germain. With the euphoria of that, everyone thought they'd go on to win the group.
That was until Dortmund came to town. They are a fantastic team. I knew last night was going to be tough. The one thing about the game a couple of weeks ago is that Newcastle created chances. I thought, if they could go there and create chances, all they need to do is take them. They did that again but, unfortunately, were unable to take them."
