Newcastle United have joined the battle for Montpellier striker Elye Wahi
Wahi has been a revelation for Montpellier this season, with his form attracting interest across Europe.
Arsenal and Borussia Dortmund are among clubs to have made enquiries.
And Foot Mercato says Newcastle have also made an approach to Wahi's camp to register their interest.
The 20 year-old has 17 goals and five assists this season and is rated in the 40m class by MHSC.
