Newcastle United are serious about signing Club Brugge star Antonio Nusa this winter.
The Magpies are now looking to hijack Brentford's deal for Nusa, with the Bees having swooped in ahead of Newcastle in the race days earlier.
Per HLN, the player wants to move in the coming hours.
However, Newcastle would have to assess his medical and determine if he is fit to play.
Brentford stalled on the deal, which has complicated matters, due to issues in the medical.
