Newcastle United have made a move for Everton winger Anthony Gordon.
The Daily Mail says Newcastle have approached Everton about a price for the England U21 international.
But they are expecting to face considerable resistance from the Merseyside club.
Everton rejected an attempt from Tottenham last week for Gordon, insisting he wasn't for sale.
