Newcastle United are being linked to Estudiantes winger Benjamin Rollheiser as a summer signing.
Per TNT Sports and journalist Nicolas Latini, the Magpies have already put in a bid for the attacker.
The Magpies are eager to bring the 23-year-old to Europe and the Premier League.
The source adds that Newcastle hope to sign Rollheiser for around 10 million, but that may not be enough.
Estudiantes president and former Premier League star Juan Sebastian Veron has a much higher valuation.
The Argentine club are seeking a fee that would be around double of that offer from Newcastle.
