Newcastle United midfielder Bruno Guimaraes has hailed the impact of manager Eddie Howe.
Speaking to FourFourTwo, Guimaraes said Howe has "turned water into wine" in "bringing a winning mentality to the club" as the side look to push on under their new ownership.
"I'm enjoying working with him, I really am," he said. "And not only as a coach but as a person.
"I admire the way he manages the whole group. He has a very human side with everyone.
"He's turned water into wine here, leading a team that many saw as virtually relegated to the middle of the table. He's bringing a winning mentality to the club – crucial when you have such a big project.
"He would come to me and ask: 'Where do you prefer to play? Here? There? OK. What's your favourite role on the pitch? I want to help you adjust to my playing style but you have your own characteristics too – where do you think you can help me most?'"
